Well, this is me. And these are some of my favorite things; I enjoy art, most notably, Art by Boris Vallejo (My idol :), Hildebrandt, Don Maitz, Rob Alexander, Janny Wurtz, and many more... but you get the idea.
My musical tastes run to some of the older rock and roll: MEATLOAF, Kim Carnes, Chris Rea, The Cure, INXS (for dancing :), Fleetwood Mac, Joan Jett, Tracey Chapman, George Michael, and The Moody Blues. On the country side, I like Garth Brooks, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, Laurie Morgan, Dwight Yokum, Randy Travis, George Strait, Bill Ray Cyrus, and Sylvia among many.
And I love "FILK" music. And for those of you that enjoy fantasy art, you might check it out when you get the chance. Filk is a delightful fantasy/sciencefiction music often with a 'folk-type' ring to it. I play it non-stop while I work... listening to songs about dragons, unicorns, warriors and damsels in distress just puts me in the mood to create and there are some fantastic artists out there to listen to! My very favorite are songs written by Mercedes Lackey... (Performed by various artists). If you like her books, (I DO!!!) You are going to LOVE her stuff put to music. Julie Ecklar is awsome! Robin Bailey is excellent as well as Meg Davis. My alltime chosen songs in this category are "Golden Eyes", "Crimson and Crystal", "I hate Firelizards" And "Blood red Roses" (?).
And I love to read. Among the authors I most enjoy; Anne Rice, Tannith Lee, Anne McCaffrey (Dragonriders forever!!!), Piers Anthony, Terry Brooks, Roger Zelazny, Stephen R. Donaldson, Michael Moorcock, Weis and Hickman, Marion Zimmer Bradley and John Norman.
Real life finds me in Arcadia, California, just outside Los Angeles, where I live in a virtual Art Gallery with my boyfriend and my daughter.
The outdoor activity I most enjoy is swimming and building sandcastles at the ocean (I love water), and on the computer (If you can catch me when I am not Mudding) I am a deadly DOOM][ deathmatch opponent (*GRIN*), and co-op decently as long as you don't catch me in the middle of a firefight when I have ammo for the double shotgun...
